Blush was founded in 2020 by Brittney, whose passion for brow artistry ignited a journey to create a salon that would soon become a local favourite. Through dedication and her unique talent, Brittney transformed Blush into a thriving beauty destination within just two years.
In 2021, Brittney crossed paths with Emma, a fellow beauty enthusiast and skilled professional. Together, they formed a solid support network, bringing fresh energy and a shared vision to Blush’s services. Recognising their synergy, Brittney and Emma made the strategic decision to join forces officially in 2022, merging their skills and expertise to propel Blush to new heights.
With their partnership firmly in place, Blush evolved beyond its brow-focused origins, expanding to include Cosmetic Tattooing and Tattoo Removal. Each new service was carefully developedto elevate Blush's offerings. Today, Blush stands out as a clinic that combines artistry, advanced techniques, and exceptional client care to provide a holistic beauty experience.

Emma
TATTOO REMOVAL SPECIALIST

Emma began her beauty career in 2013 as a makeup artist in Brisbane and expanded her expertise to brow artistry in 2015. However, it wasn’t until she had her brows and eyeliner tattooed by Valentine Artistry in Melbourne that she discovered her true passion for cosmetic tattooing. This experience inspired Emma to pursue formal training in brow tattooing at Valentine Artistry, igniting her dedication to mastering the craft.
In 2020, Emma moved to Mackay and founded M Cosmetic Tattooing, which she later merged with Blush Brows + Beauty in 2022. Since then, Emma has focused on perfecting her skills in cosmetic tattooing, brows and lashes. In 2024, Emma's expertise was recognised with awards at the Australian Beauty and Cosmetic Tattoo Awards.
As demand for tattoo removal and correction services increased, Emma expanded her qualifications to include saline, glycolic, and laser tattoo removal. She now specialises in tattoo removal and serves as the North Queensland trainer for THink Aesthetics.
Today, Emma is focused on her role as Clinic Coordinator at Blush Brows + Beauty, overseeing daily operations, guiding the talented team, and ensuring an exceptional experience for clients. She is also passionate about training, with a dedicated focus on nurturing the next generation of artists..
Emma continues to grow alongside Blush and Tattoo Removal Mackay, supporting both the clients and the team in every aspect of the business.

Brittney started her career at just 16, obtaining her Hairdressing qualification at Blessed Hair Lounge in Mackay.
Here Brittney grew her love of brows and decided to take the leap from hair to beauty, opening up Blush Brows + Beauty in 2020.
Since then Brittney has honed her skills in all things brows and her signature Ombré Powder Brow Tattoo is highly sought after!
In 2023, Brittney was the Runner Up for the PMU Ombre Artist of the Year at The Brow Awards. These prestigious awards have thousands of applicants from all over the world and is blind judged by 5 judges. To be recognised in the top 2 is a testaments to Brittney’s passion and unmatched skills in the world of brows.
